Set in scenic Danby Dale a Victorian Methodist Chapel built in 1853, has been exquisitely refurbished to provide a comfortable and luxurious holiday hideaway for two.
This lovely old building oozes character retaining some of the original features, tipping a nod to its previous use while using vibrant colours to reflect the surrounding landscape.
A true hideaway from the hectic demands of modern life, we have created a truly tranquil retreat. The surroundings offer peace and quiet to enjoy the beautiful setting. You will be able to enjoy the abundance of wildlife which is a product of organic farming in Botton Village.
Botton village is run by the Camphill trust which has supported living for people with learning disabilities. The village have shops which are run by the trust and the residents selling the local organic produce from the village workshops and farms.
Set adjacent to Danby beck you can enjoy our recently acquired out side wooded area where you can relax in peaceful surroundings under a woven hazel screen.
When darkness falls a new discovery of a spectacular night sky, uninterrupted 360’ views above the moor.
The beautiful Danby Dale can be explored on foot across the many footpath trails, through Botton Village and to Danby village. Stunning scenery to stroll through or take more demanding walks further afield. We are on the doorstep of the coast to coast route.
